Angie Weimer, Coordinator

Angie is the Coordinator for the Outreach and Business Centers. She is responsible for coordinating and marketing workshops, services, and outreach programming for the Outreach and Business Centers. She also supports instructor selection and provides research assistance in development and implementation of programs and services. Angie has experience in website writing and conducting social media campaigns for institutions of higher education and small businesses. Through her experience as a graduate assistant for the Office of Student Activities at John Carroll, she gained event planning and student organization advising skills. She also worked on pay-per-click advertising and search engine optimization campaigns as a marketing intern for PRN Funding. Angie worked as a copy editor and page designer for The Morning Journal, gaining skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Angie earned her M.A. in Communications Management with a public relations focus at John Carroll University. She also earned a B.A. in Journalism and Speech Communication from Muskingum University. Angie has a background in video production using Final Cut Pro and Avid Xpress DV editing software. Her past research projects include the how communications messaging impacts undergraduate Late Night programming and the use of blogs by professionals journalists.
Brandie Blankenship, Administrative Secretary

Brandie is the Administrative Secretary for the Professional Development Center. Her responsibilities include registering professionals into Continuing Education courses, emailing clients, creating marketing materials and taking inquiries and questions about the Professionals Development Center and Corporate Roundtable. She also works to get HRCI and BENHA approval for courses. Brandie has knowledge of many systems including Intelliworks, Constant Contact, Contribute, Partner Resource Central, PeopleSoft, Dreamweaver, and HTML. Brandie also worked for CSU’s East Center as an administrative assistant. She earned her master’s degree in Education with a focus on Adult Learning & Development from CSU. Brandie is happy to assist with inquiries and questions about any Professional Development Programs as well as CSU procedures.
