GPA 2.0 to 3.0 - Growing your Personal and Professional Aptitude

Course Description

Workshop designed to have participants assess their current state of skills (aptitudes) and attitudes (dispositions) needed in their work. Upon assessment participants will be guided to enrich those aptitudes and attitudes. Application will align emotional intelligence (multiple sources) teamwork (Lencioni), mindset (Dweck), adaptive leadership (Heifetz and Linsky), and relationships (Covey)

Real-World Application

Identify skills sets in technical areas and soft skills to adapt for enrich performance at work and at home. Participants will leave with action plans.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Definethe difference between growing professional aptitude (gpa 2.0) and growing personal attitude (gpa 3.0).
  • Identify skills necessary to enrich growing professional aptitude.
  • Identify skills necessary to enrich growing personal attitude.
  • Apply the theoretical content from emotional intelligence (multiple sources), teamwork (Lencioni), mindset (Dweck), adaptive leadership (Heifetz and Linsky), relationships (Covey).
  • Prepare action plan to implement the enriched gpa’s.

Audit option: Students have the option to audit a course they have already attended at no charge within one academic year. Interested students must notify the ProDev office requesting to audit a course a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure there is enough seating. Audit students are responsible for their own parking and lunches. New materials will not be provided.

Corporate, Custom Availability: Can be custom-tailored to the needs of your organization to provide skills your workforce can apply immediately as a corporate training if requested.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class. Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class.
