The CFA Program provides a body of knowledge focusing specifically on the practical and current skills necessary in the investment management profession. Candidates for the CFA Program include students entering the investment field, professionals increasing their expertise and marketability, and people making a career change into the investment profession from other disciplines. The CFA charter is the most widely known and respected investment credential in the world. Employers recognize the CFA charter as the definitive standard by which to measure the competence, integrity, and dedication of serious investment professionals. It is a self-study program, and enables the candidates to continue working while completing it. Further details about the CFA program can be found at: http://www.cfainstitute.org/CFAPROGRAM/Pages/index.aspx
The Monte Ahuja College of Business offers a comprehensive and detailed review course that prepares students for the topics that will be relevant on the CFA Level I exam. The course materials and instruction will follow the CFA Level I curriculum.
