Access Introduction

 

Course Description

Learn to create databases using Microsoft Access 2010. Individuals with little or no knowledge of Access will examine key concepts of the software.

Participants will gain a complete Access skill set. Individuals will learn to:

  • Plan and create a database, use both the Datasheet and Design view to create and work with tables
  • Modify a table’s design to set field properties, create input masks and validation rules
  • Create queries to sort, filter and analyze data
  • Create and work with forms for data entry
  • Use several different methods to create reports for viewing and printing data

Who Should Attend

Administrative assistants, business systems analysts, database designers and help desk technicians that need to use Access for data entry, database creation and database design.

Prerequisites

Students taking this course should be familiar with personal computers (Windows Basics) and the use of a mouse and keyboard.

*Participants who register for more than one Access course will receive a reduced rate.

Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class.
