Crystal Reports Beyond the Basics

Course Description

In this course, participants will learn to increase products by creating specialized reports. Individuals will define detailed selection parameters to identify and display specific records. Complex formulas and functions will be built using SQL, variables, and constructs. Those enrolled will learn to create polished report designs with the Repository and Project Workbench. Advanced data access techniques, such as ODBC data sources, will be used. Participants will create charts, maps, alerts, and sub-reports.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

• Define specific selection statements
• Create running totals, variables, and constructs
• Customize and apply detailed formatting attributes
• Design alerts and sub-reports

Prerequisites

All Participants must have taken Crystal Reports Essentials or have equivalent knowledge and experience. Windows experience. Excel experience is suggested.

*Participants who register for more than one Crystal Reports course will receive a reduced rate. Please note that there will be a fee change starting Fall 2013.

Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class.
