Flash on the Web

Course Description

This course will cover the basics of Adobe Flash CS6 and its programming language counterpart, Actionscript 3. Students will learn how to create animations through the visual interface, as well as add interactivity to them using Actionscript programming. General programming concepts will be explored with a focus on Flash-specific techniques and vocabulary.

Who Should Attend

Web designers, web developers, web editors and graphic designers who wish to add Flash to their skill set, and web workers who wish to explore online illustration.

Note

This is a required course for the Web Design Essentials Certificate.

Prerequisites

A working familiarity with the web and an ability to create web pages.

Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class.
