Microsoft Project Essentials

 

Course Description

This course focuses on sequencing multiple projects and tasks. Participants will learn to create calendars and resources and then assign them to tasks. Benchmark data will be provided then professionals will enter actuals and track the progress of a project. The main goal of the course is to identify resource overallocation and learn techniques to reschedule.

Course participants will be equipped to:

  • List tasks and link them in chronological order
  • List resources and assign them to tasks
  • Create calendars and assign due dates
  • Save a baseline
  • Enter actuals and track progress
  • Handle resource conflicts
  • Analyze and adjust the plan

Who Should Attend

Project Managers, engineers, builders, manufacturers, web designers, and database designers would benefit from this course.

Prerequisites

Windows experience is required. Excel experience is suggested.

Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class.
